Open mic night coming up...it's been awhile

Little rehearsal yesterday…our drummer didn’t show up, so it was just my buddy playing his 12-string Guild and singing, and me on bass.
We sounded better than ever…mostly original songs my friend Dave wrote.
Some truly amazing songs with a late 60s early 70s rock sound.
I wasn’t playing any of the big-name typical basses. I was probably the only guy in the state of Pennsylvania playing this bass.
Sheer perfection through a Peavey MiniMAX 600 and Headliner 210.

Well, it looks like it matches the genre pretty well!

I have a custom-made Bacchus Woodline, one of ten made, but sometimes the Italia is just so much fun to play.

I love Deviser for this, they do small batches with their brands on the regular. I would love to have a Sakura (Bacchus or Momose, I’m not particular  )

(2024 Momose Sakura Tele, was about $3k, one of 13)

They make some basses and guitars that are almost too nice to play.
I missed out on this one because I didn’t want to deal with having it shipped from Japan, and I still regret it.

I still can’t believe you’re selling it

I know, I am not one to talk…

They also make insanely cheap good quality entry level models. These Universe models are decent and only like $200 new. Who would even consider a Squier at that point?

Me neither… but, I really don’t want to be a collector… that bass should be played. I am in the lucky position to have now an abundance of great basses now; I really don’t have a need for the Bacchus (and thus I hardly play it); which is a shame!

That said, there aren’t many possible buyers who have inquired or negotiated so far…

This is always the reason I sell too. Two is my limit.
