Reminder - today’s Video class has been moved out two weeks to January 30th - again sorry for the inconvenience.
So we’ll be having the class instead of the hangout?
Will do the hang after the class, need to check to see if class will be 60 or 90 min and I will adjust accordingly.
I’ll be there for both. I think I have my mic, headphone and video camera set up the way I want now that the Waza is working with my laptop
Need some advice. I record my audio in Reaper, Render a new file with the backing track and then import the file as ‘custom audio’ into windows 10 video editor… the problem is regardless of my volume/output levels in Reaper, the video editor always cuts the volume, so even when i have it set to max, it is still relatively quiet on the MP4. Any ideas how to fix this?
I don’t know anything about windows 10 video editor, but I suspect that it isn’t going to be good enough for this as I’ve never heard of anyone using it.
@PamPurrs might know more about it
Does this help?
All I know about Movie maker is that it’s inadequate for music videos IMO. I’ve only kicked around in it for about 15 minutes, but that was enough time for me to realize I don’t like it.
There is a passel of better video editors out there.
That issue with the volume being squished down is beyond me. Microsoft support may be able to help.
Miss ya @PamPurrs
Don’t need your reasons, just saying.
I’ve been Ill for nearly 2 weeks, which is very unlike me. I’m usually a very healthy person. This time, COVID got me. I’m resting and drinking lots of water per doctor’s instructions.
I should be back in the saddle in time for this tutorial.
Aww, Pam @PamPurrs . . . that’s a shame . . .
(we’ve all been missing you and were about to send out a search party )
Seriously. . . take care of yourself first, get rest and drink fluids . . . we’ll all be here for when you get back.
Warmest regards
Joe
Oh no!
I was afraid of that!
Rest up my friend.
Yuck. Take care of yourself, this will all still be here when you’re better. Sara ok?
Yeah she’s fine. She had to take 4 days off from work.
Well shoot that stinks. Kick it’s ass
Get well soon @PamPurrs!
Sorry to hear about this, @PamPurrs. Get well soon! Keep taking care of yourself per doctor’s recommendations.
Damn Pam @PamPurrs !! That really SUCKS!! Glad to hear that you’re on the mend though… I hope “Plenty of liquids” include… BEER…
Get better soon @PamPurrs
We’ve had several people get it recently here at my post office from truck drivers to carriers and clerks. One of our drivers was out 3 weeks from it. The important thing is that you get well…everything else around here can wait.
Yeah that week you and I were working together on the Slide presentation and I told you I was under the weather, I was in denial that it could be COVID. Finally after nearly 2 weeks of it, I told my doctor about my symptoms, and she ordered I get tested, and sure enough it came out positive.
I think (hope) the worst of it is behind me.
