Anyone know how make a tuner pedal that stays on but doesn’t mute the bass? I’m messing around with upright bass for a little bit and want to be able to check my intonation on the fly while playing. Is this a mode on the boss or any other pedal for that matter or does it require modification?

If you haven’t heard Lake Street Dive before you’re missing out.
I just checked and my korg pitch black mini doesn’t have the bypass feature. So thats a bummer. So I guess its the boss or strobostomp. Thanks for the help!
Correct, I’ve got the PolyTune3 full size and I’ve got it in always on mode. It’s nice for learning as you can quickly confirm that you’re hitting the note you intended. You unscrew the thumb screw on the back (like if you’re going to change the battery) and there’s a a couple DIP switch in there that you can flip. You need to put it in “buffered bypass display always on” mode, which is both switches set to the right. You’ll want to have a power supply connected though as it will chew through 9V batteries like crazy otherwise.
I started with a battery and it lasted about 4 days, even with making sure to remove the input cable (acts like a power switch like an active bass/guitar). I then picked up a pedal power supply.
