As I’ve mentioned somewhere, I’m having Gustav at Lignum Guitars in Croatia build me a medium (32"-35") multiscale bass based on the Dingwall Super J. I play flatwounds and was worried that I’d have to go with rounds on that bass. But no more! This new video just released by John Fox demos the multiscale flats from Payson Bass Strings. I was thrilled that they have a medium scale set. Almost $110 with shipping to France, but what the heh. Purchased!
