In the end purchased the PJB Double 4. It is perfect. 11.6 pounds and the sound is incredible! The bass is so rich and no comparison the the Fender Rumble I have been using. At practice yesterday the members were amazed at the full sound. Just love it!

So…. My old PJB Briefcase amp head has died. No one locally will work on it due to it being digital and unable to get parts for a 20 year old amp, but the local guy told me to call PJB.
PJB will still service this 20+ year old amp!!! I have no idea if other amp companies do this sort of thing or not. However, I am super impressed that these guys do. The amp head is removed with instructions PJB and off to be serviced.
In a world of utter nonsense, customer service is king in my opinion. I think a lot of people buy a lot of things from a lot of companies that aren’t very great as a company. I think voicing your complaints or opinions with your dollars is the best way to either show a company. They’re not doing the right things, or they are.

That says a lot. Service, especially good service, is not something you find much of today.
