That could work really nicely with compression.

Some good free sample packs available from slate: https://slatedigital.com/free-sample-packs-bf21

I like using these types of things for idea generation to help get my productions started. Plugin Boutique has lots of early black friday deals going already

Atlas, the main alternative to XO sample app, is now in version 2. It has all the bells and whistles like Atlas 1 and also added quite a good sequencer and sample handling and editing.

I recommend it to whoever has an extensive number of samples. I have a few TBs of samples and with this program I actually use them.

In the beginning you will create a map of your samples and after that with one press of a button it can generate drum racks, sample racks etc. .

Not for everyone, but really useful if you want to use your samples.

$99 for Massive, Absynth, FM7, and a couple others.

Massive or Massive X?

Massive, the older one, not X. In Komplete Klassics: Massive, Absynth5, FM8, and Replika.

Thanks. That is a nice set of plugins from Native. They are all useful even if you already have a main synth platform/ecosystem.

Yeah I kind of want Absynth, actually. I have a big horde of synths now though. Of course I did finally buy Pigments today

It’s great! I’ve had it in trial mode since Pigments 2, just never shelled out for it. I didn’t technically need it but I have wanted it for over a year, so why not.
