Post your Christmas covers

Here is my contribution for this year’s Christmas Bass Cover. Hopefully we can get a few more this year in memory of our Bad Ass Bass Girl, Pam, who started this thread back in November of 2021.

Merry Christmas to One and All! :christmas_tree:

I’m not a big Christmas fan … but seein you in the santa hat… and the lights border… may have cut into my Grinchy ways a little bit.

That was absolutely STELLAR! Soooo good!

Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season!

Edit: I got here late to the party concerning Pam… tho I still see and benefit from what she left. I wish I had gotten here sooner. Its very clear she loved this community, and the community cared as much for her.

This sounds so good @JerryP , loved it :christmas_tree:

I didn’t get a chance to try a festive tune and I’m travelling home for Christmas, so sans bass unfortunately. Maybe I need one stashed in the UK for my trips back

Sounds like a little shopping trip at UK music shops is in order! LOL

I live in Switzerland :slightly_smiling_face: I typically only take carry-on luggage, so I think my travel options would be very limited! Are inflatable basses a thing?

It’s not carry on, but I’ve travelled a couple of times with this Hofner Shortie in a normal sized suitcase, by taking the neck off. The bass cost me £60, inc. some new strings - it’s probably 47th hand. It’s a bit battered and has a wooden butterfly glued to it, but that also means I’m not precious about it. My daughter stuck the Ziggy flash and Love stickers on it. There’s no way I’m sticking stickers on any of my other basses, but this one? Who cares

It actually sounds ok, although is not one I’d like to play all the time.
