Now I must confess my sins, I actually prefer Irish whiskey
@Mac - No more a sin for a Scotsman preferring Irish whisky than an Irishman preferring Single Malt Scotch!! Actually I do enjoy a little Irish Whisky now and then as I do a really nice Bourbon…
They are all interesting beverages in their own ways! Now, we probably should move this truly to a whisky/whiskey thread
Love it! Now I can’t imagine how that song could exist without exactly your baseline. It was perfectly groovy, fun and never distracting.
I was blown away with @joergkutter’s ability to spot a single malt until I clicked on the link
Beautiful. I can feel the love in your playing. What a terrific birthday experience!
I think King may be misspelled on the opening credit, but I can see how you would come up with the credit you did.
That was really fun to swim in this one bass-forward. Nicely played! I have listened to it many times, but I may not have heard it since I was 8 years old. My parents had it on 45rpm single.
@Lanny That’s a great play through, and it definitely gives it a lot of character when you add a bass track. Great work on putting it together. Any song without a bass track has always baffled me. I cant imagine the work that goes into playing music with limited to no drums or bass to keep the time and groove!
Another great song @Lanny Bill. Never heard it before but I can relate. Great bass line too.
Haha, well spotted! That is a classic “Freudian slip” type of mistake, especially for an aspiring bass player
Now, I only need to wait for my Vimeo monthly upload allowance to renew before I can post the corrected version!
I think this counts as a cover. My son on drums and me on bass. It’s a FB link. I Got You (I Feel Good)
sure it’s a cover nice to see you’re playing with your son @seangking ! he looks very concentrated and very happy at the end
Great cover @seangking,
Your young bloke looks like he is really enjoying himself, nice tone on the bass👍
Enjoyed the live concert😎
Cheers Brian
Great cover @seangking!
Most EXCELLENT @seangking! There’s nothing more enjoyable or rewarding than making and playing music with family! So cool to be able to play bass with your son on drums! Love it!!
Keep on Thumpin’!
Lanny
Very melodic and pleasant to hear Joerg!
Thanks, @sathya - much appreciated!
Just for future reference: you replied to a post by @terb and you didn’t use my handle (like I used yours in the first line here) - so, it was a bit by chance that I saw this particular post from you. Thus, while it often seems a bit impersonal to use handles, it makes it easier for the intended recipients to find the message
Sorry that was a mistake. Will take care in the future.
Thanks Dave!
No problem at all! Most of us have been there at one time or another
