My first “non-50-song-challenge” cover… Jailbreak by AC/DC

I hadn’t really planned to make a cover of this, but when @T_dub recently shared his upcoming activities, my mind instantly went to this song, so I guess this is for him…

Beyond just learning the song, had quite a few challenges just getting the video sorted. But hey, hopefully I learned a thing or 2 in the process. Ignore the messy couch and my lack of stage presence.

Open to critique, of course - appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

yeah AC/DC is one of my beloved bands, always a good thing to hear a cover

it’s a great cover, maybe a bit “shy” about the bass tone (well it’s not a Precision or a Stingray) but not a real issue. Great cover !

I try, but like you said: I also lose the ability of playing :joy:

But yes, I’ll try to relax and feel the song more. I think that this is crucial for main goal: join a band.

Onward with the Motörhead covers! I present “I’ll be your sister” from 1979’s Overkill. It’s a pretty simple bassline really, and similar to most others around that era. I guess Lemmy was singing while playing, after all…

It’s still difficult to 100% split the bassline from the guitar track using Moises but I think I got away with it this time. Anyway - We are Motörhead and we play rock and roll :sunglasses:
