Made it to song #50! Started this journey in January of 2022. Each song has taught me so much. They provided a chance to walk in the shoes of many great bassists, study their techniques, and what they chose to play and contribute to these songs. Ultimately it not only helped me improve as a player, but I believe the variety of songs, and sometimes going out of my comfort zone, helped me find a voice as a player. None of this would’ve happened without this incredibly supportive and knowledgeable community. I am super grateful for the advice and encouragement I’ve received here from all of you along the way. An especially huge thank you to @John_E who invited me to give this a try 2 years ago and listened to every one of these and helped me many many times along the way.
On to the song – I love that it ends with Bon Jovi, just a fun catchy 80’s rock tune that everyone can sing along too. It has a great riff, some cool slides, and I like the tasteful way it transitions to a chug at the end. I’m using my Squier Fretless CV with all controls maxed, through the B1Four “AG 750” simulator.
