I finally got to do a cover with the Ibanez GIO that I converted to fretless. The bass plays well and sounds pretty good I think. Definitely takes a different skill to play, my eyes are glued to the fingerboard. Doesn’t help that this is a difficult rhythm to maintain, on drums and on bass. Occasionally I fall out of the swing and play a straight rhythm, but just for a second. Still pretty fun to play though.
