Get a variety pack with different sizes and see which ones stick with you. I switch up my picks depending on what (how) I’m playing. I generally prefer the .7 .88 and 1.0 with bass.

Oooh! not available in US amazon though, that said, I’m hoping to be in Germany in a few weeks so I might poke in some music shops while I’m there.

They are, but I wouldn’t start with them. Or likely finish with them - Dunlop Tortex and Ultex are just fine and feel great. I like 0.88 to 1.0mm myself, just get a Dunlop assortment and try a bunch. It takes a while to find what you like.
Nothing wrong with the Rombos for what they are but I have tried and discarded every gimmick pick I have tried in favor of good old Dunlops.

The brand doesn’t matter as much as figuring out how much flex you like in your pick. Also, I’d skip the gimmicky picks atm. Like @howard says, jsut get any random asst pack and figure out what you like. Worry about the goofy stuff later. That said, my daughter picked me up some leather ones off of Etsy that I’m waiting for still.

yeah I have tried a few and none stuck with me, the normal picks are simply better all around IMO.

It was as much about finding something music related that she wasn’t going to have to spend much on (broke 20 something year old). I’ve been wanting to play around with them anyway.

Yep, a green or yellow Ultex and I’m a happy camper. I keep a green in my wallet just in case I end up in a guitar shop.

Anything 0.7mm for me. Just a little bit of flex / give. Thinner and they bend too much, thicker and it harder to control the attack. As someone else said, get a verity pack - you’ll find something you like, the just give the rest away…I did
