Hi! To find out what I can do, say @bassbot display help.

Love it, I’ve been getting into these guys recently, I’ve got The End of Heartache in my queue but I’m nowhere close yet.

Awesome job

My goodness, there have been so many amazing videos and covers posted by ya’ll of late!! Hard to keep up. But really, so many good ones! Congrats to you all.

Been quite some time since I’ve posted one up, but figured I’m due. Been working on and off on this song for a while, finally got it up to speed and was excited to film and record it.

Sorry about the clutter in the background, I was just too amped to go that I really didn’t focus on what was behind me, soooo… not too happy about that, but I thought the playing turned out too well to not keep the take. Salvaged the video as best I could… lol.

Without further adieu, here’s my cover of She’s Kerosene by The Interrupters.

Bass: Ibanez EHB1505MS
Pedals: DG Harmonic Booster, DG Microtubes Infinity, Line6 HXOne, Zoom B1FOUR, amp sim and ir through the NUX Mighty Pro 3 (also serves as audio interface), recorded in Reaper and bass removal using RipX.

Dang! @brik1970 I wanna get up and bounce. Great job man!

Fretting on the fret on a MultiScale takes some practice, you got skillz!

great job! I love this song. I have considered covering the whole Faith album, it’s one of my favorites.

Thank you! I’ve got one from Pornography in the pipeline too, I just got it recorded about 15 minutes ago along with a few others. I’ll work on getting them from Logic into imovie to youtube in the next couple of days.

I think for my next batch of songs, I’m gonna try a few of the Cure’s happier songs. Something like Why Can’t I Be You or Caterpillar. Catch will probably be one of them.

I keep meaning to do Cold, though I can’t sing it so would go to the vocaloids for that

Thank you Al! It is a fun pop-punk/ska song, a genre I was completely ignorant about until taking the BB course.

My biggest improvement with this has been working through the etudes contained in the Cyborg Bassist ebooks by Mark Smith. My finger speed has greatly increased since I started working on them regularly, as well as my accuracy and confidence moving around the fretboard more. Well worth the investment and time.

One of my favorite 80s Rush songs. Sheba girl was snoozing so she sat this one out, but she’ll be back for the next one…lol.

What a fab song this is with a killer bass line. Really enjoyed learning this one but it’s damned fast so apologies for the odd screw up.

This was my first Rush experience. My mentor was “trying” to transcribe the song. I thought that it was the hardest song in the world,

Years later, it’s still is tough
Good job nailing it as always @Justin3
