Best song is absolutely gonna be up to an individual’s thoughts. I love Nirvana by all means, but I can think of a ton more songs that I would say are the best of the 90’s. Again, it’s all subject to the person listening. Alice In Chains is one of my top three favorite bands. They put out their “Layne Staley” albums in the 90’s, and they were just phenomenal albums, to me. Personally, I feel he was one of the greatest rock singers of his time, and still it’s hard to match that. Chris Cornell was another. The Soundgarden stuff was just great, again, to me. Was Nirvana a great band? Absolutely. Did they change music? Absolutely. Regardless of what anyone’s opinions are is “best”, you did a great job on covering the song, and that’s what really matters. (FYI - this wasn’t meant to bash anyone, just my thoughts on the whole discussion. Not trying to make anyone upset, just so you all know.

This thread has been blowing up! Hopefully I can catch up on all the covers tomorrow.
This was a “hey I think I’ll make a cover” kinda day. 50% of the time I plan on what I’m going to do, but today was spontaneous. I had to simplify the drums a lot on this song, I can’t play Chad Sexton grooves at all. The bass was another challenge for me. I can mix a punk song in a hurry, but this low 5 string sound was much different and took me a bit. Definitely not perfect, none of my covers are, but hopefully this one sounds okay.
