Hello everyone. It’s been a while. I learned this one by ear. Originally I tried to learn it on a 4 string but it didn’t quite sound right to me. It was missing something. Could’ve been my imagination but I thought it sounded better on my 5 string and more natural. That’s my goal next year is to try to figure out more songs by ear at least simpler bass lines.

I think its official colour is “Pink Gold Metallic Matte”. A colleague has a Sea Foam Green one, he’s told me that there’s no way he could get away with a pink one, but apparently I can pull it off. I not sure if that’s a compliment or not

In all seriousness, I get really frustrated with the pinkification of young girls. Boys like blue, girls like pink, reinforcing gender stereotypes that can affect what girls choose to study at school and university - maths and the sciences are for boys, humanities and arts are for girls.
In a reaction to this, I have pink work shirts, a pink pullover, pink summer cycling jerseys and a pink bass. Boys like pink too, and girls can love science, maths and engineering!

Can’t do Pink jerseys. It’s not the color but the mud and dirt usually won’t come off a pink jersey, and it’s a pain.
