ZZ Top - Legs bass cover / improvisation
This isn’t really a cover of the legendary Dusty Hill’s bass line. In a “Well, I didn’t know that!” revelation, Dusty doesn’t play bass on Legs! The song is made up of Billy Gibbons on guitar and vocal, and engineer Terry Manning, who played keyboard bass and a drum machine to achieve the sound Gibbons wanted. Yep, it seems that Frank Beard was also sidelined! Apparently, all three did write the song though and got writing credits.
Well, anyway, I’ve fixed the bass bit
Squier Classic Vibe 50s P Bass into the Ampero, then on into GarageBand.
