“The Impression That I Get” by Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Such a fantastic song. Had to get out of the moody/brooding/overly emotional vibe that my covers have taken on lately. So in this case, I opted for an upbeat/up-tempo and danceable tune with the catchiest horns ever but still contains some heavily introspective/reflective lyrics along with a kick ass bassline. Definitely had a challenge with the rhythm here as I’m sure you’ll be able to delineate, but pretty happy with this one and it was a blast to play.
