Post Your Covers! (2026)

Hi all,

Here’s an arrangement of the song Everloving by Moby.

I played all the different instruments (bass, guitar, a couple of synths) and programmed the drums as a 4 bar pattern.

The original is acoustic guitars, so I’ve recorded it on electric, and added a fresh bass line. I also rearranged the order of the bridge/chorus slightly to make it flow and build a bit more naturally for my style of playing.

Nice job overall. You may want to pay attention to articulation. You are playing staccato where the original is a bit more legato and fluid.

Here is a cover video of my play Jenny Was a Friend of Mine by The Killers. I had a lot of fun learning how to record my audio and video, I can’t wait to play more songs.

I spotted a few Kinks covers here and was reminded how basic and raw they were back in high school during the British Invasion. Heck, this one just fell into place and I had to add it.

Thank You so much! I had a transcription for this song where most of the notes were staccato that’s why I played like that.

Thank you! It was a gift from my wife for my first bassiversary!

This was my first 5 string and, to be honest, it took me a little while to get used to it. But now that I have, I feel comfortable moving from bass to bass no matter if they’re 4 or 5 strings.

Great tone, especially during the chugging!

Thank you for this. Excellent cover!

I haven’t thought about this song since 1986-87. It’s nice to time warp every now and then.

Really nice job. My only feedback is try to relax and loosen up a bit, and your playing will to and feel more fluid with the tune. This of course comes with time but you are doing GREAT and headed to great things. Keep it up.

Nice one, Craig! Well played! You can throw in some flat slides after the chorus before the main riff starts again and then pick that same riff up at the lower end of the neck (if you are fooling around with that song again and feel so inclined). Quick story: That was the first song I played live. We were playing on a stage outdoors in a bar’s parking lot. I had hearing protection in and when the song started, I couldn’t hear the band at all, so I had to stare at the rhythm guitarist to know when he was changing chords. Not my dream start playing on a stage!

Yeah, dude! As I wrote on your YT page…when he screeches “there’s a better waaaaay!” it was like instant teleportation to the 80’s. Well played as always!
