Great cover @howard,
It sounds awesome, I don’t even know if it needs guitar in the mix🤔
Will be interesting to listen with the addition though😎
Looking forward to hearing the completed project
Cheers Brian
Thanks!
The actual song has a really excellent guitar crescendo that I want to get in this plus the recurring part adds a lot.
One of my favorite basslines though for sure
Stuck in the Middle
Stealers Wheel
I know this cover has been done a million times, and probably a dozen times just on this forum. This wasn’t on my list, but a friend dared me (even baited me with a pitcher of beer), so I couldn’t refuse.
Admittedly, it’s not as good as Tony Williams’ original performance, but it’s my version. I guess if I practice 50 more times I could get it better, but I just wanted to get it finished so I can claim my pitcher of beer, and move on to my next cover.
P.S. @terb I DIDN’T use a green screen on this video
Yamaha BB735
LaBella Deep Talking Bass flatwounds
Good job @PamPurrs Pam! Nice work on the entire production. One of my favorites on my car playlist.
I use Berhinger also, but mine you drink!
This whole time I thought that song was Dylan
Nice work! I absolutely love the BB’s tone.
yeah sure
Seriously @terb , I swear I didn’t use a green screen this time. On my last video (Still got the Blues), when I did the chroma key on the green screen, it washed out the stem of the rose on my pick guard. So this time…
Wait for it…
I used a BLUE screen
Enjoy your beer Pam, @PamPurrs,
You earned it, great cover, loved the production, and you are looking really comfortable playing .
Nice tone👍
Cheers Brian
Ach, I can’t watch it because my internet is so slow it keeps stalling you. The bass is gorgeous and the tone is smooooooth! I was tempted by the BB myself and will probably get around to trying one one of these days.
The covers have moved on a bit since I was last regular here: when did we get into post-production videos?
same, I’ve not been able to watch the video to the end
that’s what happen with bad ass people
