Thanks John, really funny how this song came about. The Officers club manager is a monster guitar player, has a marshall half stack in his office all the pedals known to man, and an armory of guitars and I was in his office waiting for take out order and picked up a guitar and played that first rhythm chop. Told him that theres a song there, couple of weeks later I put this together.

Jerry the second one came after I was watching a video where they talked about adding chorus and distortion and I was playing around with some chord work and the N61 says, “dude that sounds dark”…so I wrote a song using that riff as the melody.

“Friday / Saturday” is inspired by the, sometimes very peculiar, window of time between Friday’s afternoon and Saturday’s early morning.

Thank you, this one went through some changes I had it ready to go and deleted everything but the drum loop…re-recorded the bass line with delay and chorus…then re-wrote everything else. You wouldn’t have recognized them as the same song…no big power chords or octave fuzz…a real 180 but I liked this, it sounds bigger, more full…really glad you liked it
