Post your pedal ideas

@John_E how did this plasma pedal work out for you, I just found them and very interested in how the whole electrical energy distortion thing sounds on bass

It is a TON of fun!
Don’t get it if you are looking for a distortion pedal, its like turbo uber steroid distortion, lol.
But they are great.
The nice thing about Gamechanger is they make pedals that work with any instrument.
Playing my sax through it is a blast too.

https://youtu.be/lDmBibso9yo?si=1rweRbAiR3GWgT75 When I sign up for the course and complete it, I wonder if I should buy this for myself. Just browsing through this topic is making my head spin. Now i don’t “NEED” some effects, since I’m still a bit away from a completely smooth rendition of Billie Jean, but I just think it’s so cool. And with a (cheapish) option like this, I’m just wondering if this wouldn’t be a nice entry level gadget.

Search it up here. It’s highly thought of and discussed quite a lot here already.

Net/net it’s s great way to explore effects but a bit clunky to configure / operate, pc software makes configuring easier though.

this would have been my choice if it existed before i bought a bazillion dollars worth of loopers and drum pedals. actually kicking around the idea of getting it for my mini-pedal board just for fun.

yeah i thought this was great too and very very easy to use.

I think my biggest desire is simply to have the effects to play Anesthesia (Pulling teeth) :joy:

That looks fun but (unless I missed it) there’s doesn’t appear to be a display to show the tempo of the drums?

definitely not but it does appear to be tap tempo.

I can’t see me letting go of my Beat Buddy but that looks like a great practice tool. I’ll ask Santa.

Boss has something similar, the RC-10R. I had this one briefly, but I returned it because I was looking for more something like the beatbuddy.

There’s also, like, all of the Zooms (except the MS-60B)

Will probably never get near buying one of these but would love

these are in the ‘vintage digital style’, and if you knew that is a thing that exists, you might like them (before you see the price and the $$$ make you cry)

Oto machines
blue delay/yellow reverb/red warming unit

I have used the OTO Biscuit UA plugin version and it was fun

Since playing with a looper, I sometimes want to record a signal with effects and sometimes I want to feed a loop into the effects and have fun turning knobs. This pedal would enable switching between those modes.

There are probably way too many mono/stereo switches, not sure though yet which ones should stay.

I would buy one tomorrow, lol.
I go back and forth moving my looper for this very reason.

I’ve been looking at different line selector/line switchers that might do something like…

Effects Loop Bypass
Effects Loop A only (your effects chain in Effects Loop A)
Effects Loop B only (your Looper Pedal in Effects Loop B)
Loop A → Loop B (puts your Looper Pedal at the end)
Loop B → Loop A (puts your Looper Pedal at the beginning)

The only thing I can find that does this is a professional switching unit, like this for $450…
Electro-Harmonix Super Switcher Programmable Effects Hub | Sweetwater

As cool as that setup would be, it would be cheaper to get an inexpensive second looper pedal.

Very cool @Fabianus

Would the Spaceman Mission control do the things you want @eric.kiser ?
(maybe too pricey even if it does, but its pretty cool)

Had the same thought — except for keeping them in sync
