Thanks @Al1885 ! Man, I’m surprised you can manage to keep up with your own GAS let alone anybody else’s! :rofl:

This one showed up a few days ago. I’m not exactly sure which set of flats is on it, but pretty sure they are one of the variations of LaBella DTF. The Sire website is woefully devoid of details for the fretless version of this bass, unfortunately. I didn’t even know they made one, then when I saw it I had to buy it. I wanted a fretted one months ago but couldn’t find one. I like that it’s a 35" 5er like my BTB - trying to spend more time with them both.

Are you kidding? I gave that up a couple of years ago. Every time I look in my back shed, it’s like treasure hunt, I see some basses I haven’t touched in a while and surprised I still have it. :rofl:

Taking my new Alembic out for a test drive, putting it through the pace. Wow, so much fun. Didn’t have the chance to put it on my Q8N, this is just a rough iPhone recording. Hopefully, I’ll get it on the Cover next week.

Working on the first cover and decided to record an excerpt. I hope to do this on fretless for the final version.

I recorded straight into OBS so the levels aren’t where I’d like them.

Decided to dive into cameras, lighting, and video stuff tonight while also trying the Dingwall. This was my first test video. Plenty of work to do.

Was also not focused and ended up playing it one-finger Jamerson style

Still messing with lighting and such, but I decided to learn an intro tonight to a song I’d never heard before. Nearly took the stool down with the slide.
