Reverend Raymond. I love it. It’s even lighter than my Ibanez.
They only made the Raymond for a couple years. Which is kind of a shame.
If you find one, I highly recommend it. Not only is it gorgeous but I can get a crazy amount of tones with very simple controls.

Listened to Journey to the end of the East Bay by Rancid on the way home from practice. Thought I’d give it a shot when I got home. This is after 4-5 plays. Shocked at how close I got on my first try! Hope to make a cover soon. What a great Jam.

And totally agree @MattyD , I really dig this line even though it’s not something that would immediately come to mind. That’s something I noticed when I first started playing bass (and I might have even mentioned it in my introductory post here) that I started appreciating the musicality of genres that weren’t necessarily my daily drivers.
Wait! When did you get that bass? What string do you put on that one? Some times it’s hard to keep up with people’s GAS even your buddies,
