Back in the mid 80’s my father had a Renault 4 van for his business.
I recently decided to try to find one to restore and maybe paint in the Renault ELF Yellow/White/Black racing colours, just for the irony.
I quickly changed my mind when I saw the prices they were fetching.
When I was really young, my dad had a Renault 10 in dark green. I remember being mad when he traded it in for a first year Datsun B-210 (mainly because I wanted him to buy the 280Z )
B-210s were hugely underrated until people figured them out. They sell now for more than they did back then, usually $5k or so, which is like double their original sticker.

Super underrated cars. So were Corollas but people had figured out that those were actually awesome by the mid-80s. B-210s took until the late ‘80s for people to actually get why they were great.
I suppose you can take the bike away from the rider, but you can’t take the rider away from bikes.
