How many people play bass on their steering wheel while driving?
I sometimes try to tap out the rhythm to whatever is playing on the system, that I would/might play if playing for real. (Not the same thing as just tapping out the rhythm).
I’m too busy texting to practice as well.
too soon
Errr… me… plucking and fretting…
Not playing the bass but drumming with my fingers…on everything…
All day long… Sometimes it’s annoying but it can also be very contagious to other people (friends , colleagues, wife)
My favorite: triplets with fingers 1 , 2 and 3
This… steering wheels, desks, any able surface… drives my son nuts when we are snuggling at bedtime listening to his tunes cause I’m using him as a drum, and/or my toes are twitching in time as well.
Pretty sure this is why 2/3 finger plucking felt so natural as well, just had to modify the angle slightly.
Oh you got it bad, Don’t start golfing, then you’d be swinging everywhere you are not playing bass,
I’ll pluck the wheel with my right hand like it was a string, but usually only on songs that I know how to play (so not very many yet).
Definately whilst listening to songs I’m learning
Cowards. I bring my bass with me and practice in traffic like Homer Simpson, they way a real bassist is supposed to!
Viva la Florida!
Good for you @mr.crispy. Looking at the stats I’m surprised if most people would have the room between themselves and the wheel for a bass
For accuracy they should separate Florida into Miami/Dade vs the rest of the state
