i thought this was very cool from AMP the bass player: he has a downloadable backing track on his free patreon, and invites people to play bass over it and submit their basslines, which he then listens to and gives feedback on youtube.

I’ve been playing for 2 months now (±daily for 1-1.5 hours), completed 11 modules at the badass course, paused it because during the last 3 weeks was obsessing over the #3 PYOB challenge.

I’d say technically 120 bpm was over my head and I had to get my precision (it’s still not that good) and speed quite far up.
Used everything I’ve learned from the course: following drum pattern, note length, muting, slides, triplets, chords, harmony, learning slow and working up to speed. Have some issues with left hand getting crooked, working on that
