I have one of these for silent practice.
It’s tiny and costs $99.

It looks cool and I like the vintage tone but it’s only 5 watt. So I guess it’s only suitable for silent practice? For $50 more you can buy a TC Bam 200 which is a 200 watt amp that you can use for practice and gigs.

No aux-in though. I feel the urge to make a chart.

I’m an audio video systems engineer. The current charting exercise is speaker types and locations for a new police station paging system.

Lol, I could easily see it in my future.

I couldn’t even begin to tell all the things my friends and I have heard people say while setting up their audio systems. It’s like you’re invisible to them.

One of my favorites is the time a friend told me the Coke executives thought the future of their business would significantly include bottled water. Yeah, right. There’s no way I’m investing in a company with these goofballs.

So I really will make a chart of features just because I think it’s fun.

Let me know if you want something added.

“Home Solo Practice Really Portable Amp”
Amplug
Nux

Zoom B1Four
Darkglass Element
Pod X3

Thunder 5W
Quilter Interbass
TC BAM
Orange Little Micro Stamp Bug

Rumble 40
Phil Jones Something
Roland Cube
Ampeg Rocket

I don’t want this to be comprehensive. Please add something if you really think it meets or beats something already on the list and would be widely recommended. Maybe add some picks for a cabinet to put with a low power practice amp that would be usable with a big amp later?

NUX made a really nice portable practice amp too. The NUX Mighty Bass 50BT. Just watched a review on the bass channel.

The IR and Bluetooth options are really interesting!
