I just bought a Fender Rumble LT 25 and still finding my way around it. I thought I had done my usual due diligence before buying but there is one aspect I don’t seem to be able to get a clear answer on…
Prior to buying the amp I somehow got the impression that you could add tones via the Fender Tone app. However I can’t find any clear steer on how this can be done despite a lot of reading and searching,
The scenario is…Fender Rumble LT25 connected via USB (Micro USB to USB-C) going to either a MacBook Pro or an M4 iMac (I’ve tried both)it connects just fine, firmware updated…all good. But how do I download tones and add them to the amp? I appreciate this can’t be done using the iOS app as the amp doesn’t have Bluetooth.
Could someone either point me to some instructions or maybe give me an idea of how it’s done?
Thanks in advance
This ai site has greatly helped me with my Katana 110 amp.

Have you tried the Fender Tone desktop program? If you were able to connect to the amp for a firmware update then you should be able to connect with the software over USB.

Hi, sorry, I should have been clearer. I am using the Fender Tone app on both the laptop and desktop devices.
I suspect that is the key to it however even with the latest version of it installed I’m still not able to figure it out. As you suggest the fact that I’m able to connect to the amp in order to check and update the firmware is a positive sign. Thanks for your response.
@markfernandes If you don’t get an answer here, head over to the Fender Rumble LT25, Studio 40 (the one I have) and Stage 800 thread on the TalkBass.com forum and ask there. Accounts are free if you don’t have one already.
