Scam bass parts company?

In July, I ordered a replacement bridge for my Ray5 bass from an online company called bass exchange amps shop. Cost about $150. Shortly thereafter, I got an email from them saying that there was some problems with their supplier and there might be a delay in shipping. That is the last I heard from them. I have emailed them several times with no response, and I get the feeling that this may be a scam operation. Has anyone else had any experience with this company?

Thanks

Some of the Google reviews aren’t exactly great.

Call them. I’ve spoken to the guys on the phone before.

I ordered a custom bridge for one of my Sires and I received it. It took a while because of the company’s limited production and stock available, but I got it.

I’ve bought two basses and one of their handmade fuzz pedals from them. Excellent service each time. Their custom Albridge replacement bridges are excellent quality. It can be really difficult for a small operation to manage supply chain issues.

Is this the email address you’re using?

Gary (the owner) has done alright by me. Stick with it. You’ll love the bridge once you get it.

It’s a real shop in North Hollywood. Calling/when I went in person the owner was super helpful. Unfortunately tho website orders seem to be an ongoing issue. I personally got the impression that they are slightly overwhelmed trying to manage everything. Not that that’s a good excuse for leaving you in the lurch of course.

Hopefully you’ll be able to everything worked out okay!

Yes legit and I’ve ordered from them before. Great experience. Even called once with questions. No issues.
