Setting up for BEAD

The only reason I changed back was because I didn’t really get the utility out of it I expected (and sold the bass). I found that I am fine with Drop D. The B and C were cool but really D gets me where I need 90% of the time. If I were playing more metal that would change though. Of course I could always shift in software (which works great, I’ve used it to fix being slightly out of tune before too :rofl:)

The other dirty little secret of B strings is that on many basses they have about seven useful frets and the rest sound like mud/poop/etc. But those seven frets are amazing.

I love the D. A lot. Like, it is my go-to note for whenever I drop below E XD I hit that 3rd fret a lot on my 5-strings.
