:open_mouth:

This is awesome, starts out really strong.

edit: half hour later it’s still on in the background, really really good.

Finished it, really good. Seems less prog and more metal than Asheran? Hard to say

Another “Duck” classic. Down to brass tacks and hard hitting.

yeah @howard , maybe. Asheran was somewhere between psychedelic stoner and post-metal.

Fully agree.
More Tool-ish… which I don’t care for. Asheran was glorious!

T-Rex was such a good band. Herethey are on Top of the Pops, ith Elton John on piano. Just for looks, they weren’t playing live on that show.

It’s actually Rick Wakeman on the recording. 71 was an amazing year for Rick. His band broke up and he was now a session musician. Besides playing for T-Rex, he played on Elton John’s Madman Across the Waters, David Bowies A Space Oddity, and piano for Cat Steven’s Morning Has Broken.

Then he was asked to do session work for Yes during their Fragile sessions and was invited to join the band.

Really killer tough sounding bass line below. Muting techniques sounds like it really needs to be on point for this one.

Songs like these make me miss smoking cigarettes. Sure feel like leaning back, lighting up, and watching the smoke drift in the air as I enjoy the taste of a Marlboro Light.

I’ve always loved this song. I don’t like all their stuff but they nailed this one.

There is a quiet, gentle simplicity about it.

Sort of like hunting in the woods and coming across a field of wildflowers, or driving in the desert and the sun peeking out and rising as you’re finishing 14 hours of work.

Sometimes I feel in the world we live in now, people can’t stop and appreciate simple beauty. Too many deadlines and hours to work.

This song reminds me of a time when I wasn’t adulting. And I’m thankful for it.
