I resemble that remark.
I actually like any style of music, as long as the song is good.
And saying “I like jazz” is like saying “I like beer”…plenty of both I don’t like.

Very true. It’s funny because I’ve read that both James Jamerson and Carol Kaye came from Jazz backgrounds.
Modal and 50s progressive jazz are a lot of fun. I am sucker for anything Miles and Coltrane like almost anyone else.
I was into southern rock in my you, well much of it. Here’s an oldie.
Since we’re on Southern Rock side of the things, I recently finished re-mixing this song. It’s a newer band but I really like them, great 70’s vibe:
Very nice @joeike,
consistent playing, like the tone from the upright,
Cheers Brian
That was awesome! I love the “what in the cracker barrel, betty white, highway Bluegrass chickin’ pickin’ bidness is this down these Nashville roads” vibes a lot!
Outlaw Country, Westerns are all top notch is what I realized. That’s where it’s at for me, haven’t heard a single bad song yet. That’s rare for me. It’s that radio pop country I didn’t like.
Love this classic.
I knew the Femmes, but I didn’t know this song until recently (watched some of their concerts on YT). This one really gets to me - I think being a father, specifically of daughters in this case, makes things like this give me feels now. Wouldn’t have thought twice about it when I was younger…
Yeah, it’s a really good illustration of how that band really pushed in to some boundaries. Especially back then.
Can you get better backup singers than Bonnie Raitt and Emmylou Harris?
Little Feat
Two regrets in life, I didn’t see Stevie Ray Vaughn, and I didn’t see Lowell George
This is probably my favorite NOFX Album.
I been working on “The idiots are taking over”
Love NUBS!!!
My favorite as well but it was also the first NOFX album I heard so it has that effect on me too.
A little Frank Bello

Joey Belladona’s mom is native so it’s all cool
I have seen them play Exactly there, but probably close 20 years before this performance, maybe 18 or 17 years? I never stayed a fan, they kind of lost me on Rust in Peace, and most definitely with Countdown, but I liked the first 3 albums.
I do like Dave Ellefson alot tho.
