Any of Chris Squires bass playing is awesome
Cheers Brian
Yes it does. it is not a Punk and Doom Metal thread, so everything is welcome.
Plus, a band with that name can’t be that bad. Probably slow, but steady.
The second track says it all.
Morphine, Cure for pain. Love it.
I have heard of brown sugar, but not honey white
When Tony Iommi was in Jethro Tull…
Morphine is in my top 10 all time. One of the greatest vibes and grooves I’ve found in music. Thanks for the share here!!
And his bass sounds!!!
Love it.
More like “Share some good metal friday” am I right?
Here’s the latest single from a very not-metal album I can’t stop listening to
It’s not all metal here ![]()
I mostly do post-punk and post-rock myself. I’ve been on a darkwave kick recently (well, technically have been for 35 years I guess) but there’s some really good stuff in the current revival.
I posted these guys before but I’m listening to them now so why not:
not sure if I prefer the song itself (love it, really) or the video clip with all those weird dances.
I know I already posted some Stupeflip stuff, and I know that it’s all frenco-french referencies but still great music IMHO.
Wow, that is awesome. I never knew he played with them before Black Sabbath. I am sure that is pre finger prosthetics too.
Really great. That album and Rheia are really really solid.
Stumbled across this on my streaming app. I think some might like it. A little warning, it’s electronic music, darksynth apparently ![]()

I like it a lot, obviously
Todd Terje is musical genius. This album, It’s Album Time, is one of my favorite electronic albums of all time. And I guess some people here could like it also.
Todd Terje!
Delorean Dynamite and Inspector Norse are two of his songs I listened so many times.
I love how specific but not repetitive his sound is. His “electro disco” is really smart and fun at the same time. And he in general doesn’t produce bad songs. I am a big fan of him. (is it him or his ?
)
