@T_dub lmao @ the Frank Sinatra cover. At first I thought you got your profile pic from this video when gives us his best gurn between verses hahah
Might be my favorite Cure bass line, simple but unforgettable.
My profile pic is this.
And it is tatted on my chest
He looks extremely dope sick in this one. There is a good story behind the tattoo, that I will post here
Some really excellent ones on that album, Disintegration is fun to play too!
Doc Watson
One of the best players I ever saw. To add context, his son Merle was killed in a farming accident a few years before this.
One of my all time favorite albums, and a great band to get into if you’re a bassist.
for those of you who grew up with it like i did, you can stream night flight pretty cheaply. still great. they just did a 24 hour devo day, watching a few hours straight of devo vids does some pretty crazy things to your head, let me tell you.
Haha he looks like they told him to do his best punk nose snort for a picture “oit mate”
And it’s as easy as that @wellbi
Amazing.
Reckon my hand would fall off at that speed
I absolutely love how she seems to have time of her life when playing bass.
For sure @wellbi
That’s certainly something I forget at times when I’m learning and definitely should be the main reason for playing

Have to listen to these 2 tracks in this order off their most recent album. Just incredible, especially the vocals.
OK, it’s not doom metal or punk, but I still think it belongs in this thread…

What I wouldn’t give to get that tone.
