Babymetal has been dropping a new video every day this week. Here’s a good one from a couple of days ago.
One would think that their connection with music stems from singing, but it seems to be dance just as much. When Su walked away from Babymetal, with the quote “no more metal, I am done” (she was just burned out), Moa went to visit her and they rented a karaoke room and - danced to the songs together. And that got Su inspired to start the project up again.

She is so good on growls. She calls it “showing her fangs”. I’m going to have to listen more closely now, because she sneaks them in. If you go back and listen to BMC, when they say say “wak wak”, she throws in a growl on background vocals while Moa and Su are also harmonizing. Tricky.
Because of them, i’ve been practicing my growlings… and slide some in between. … but I messed up 2 days ago and strained them…

I bought my husband a true forged Tanto and Katana back in the early days of our marriage.
The Katana is actually from a fairly well acclaimed Japanese sword smith iirc. I need to find the documentation I had to put together to get it through customs when we moved to England at one point.

Very cool! I had to get chinese made Katanas - cause: price!
The quality is outstanding, but non-Japanese swords have no soul. And even if they had: a Katana looses it’s soul as soon as a woman touches it (or so they say).
With that knowledge my girlfriend made it her mission to touch my Katanas as soon as she got the opportunity
