"Share some good music" Friday

It’s nearly 2 AM… and I blame you two for making me what that concert!!

Me and my daughters were planning on going… wife blocked that idea.
Even at 100€/Ticket + flights it would’ve been absolutely worth it… AND THOSE MOSH PITS!!! DAMNNN!!!

I could sing “Je ne regrette rien”… but I regret it all!! What a fcking show!

Just dropped

Kami-Band are incredible… we can’t really say that one musician is dragging them back.

One of Kami Band’s former guitarists is the founder of my favorite metal band here.

Probably quite fast to Irish customs and then… well good luck

Some more outstanding bass tone from Miki Furukawa playing my favorite bass.

Love the SBV pickups.

Only had issues with Irish Customs when my wife ordered a fairly good replica for Rurouni Kenshin’s reverse katana. Blocked at Irish customs under the “something terrorist act”… I could appeal but if I was denied… worst case scenario I would be added a watch list. Between solicitors and paperwork would cost about 500€.

We gave up and they destroyed it. Shipper refunded in full… P&P also, when we explained the situation… and ofc… “No ship zone” given to Ireland

Wild, you bought a backblade? like a real one? That would be illegal in Japan too

No… a replica. Completely dull.
It was 180€ or so. That type of swords that are only for Demo.

My girlfriend got a Wakizashi when I ordered my other (tactical) Katana. None of our blades are for decoration, but “real” - for combat and Tameshigiri. In Germany that was no issue at all, which surprised me…

Cool to know that your wife is a “crazy” as my girlfriend

I think the live action Rurouni Kenshin might be the most recent Japanese language movie I saw. Either that or Eien no Zero.

She has her moments.

She bought me later a Longclaw (Jon Snow’s Game of thrones) replica to stay there.

I only want weapons I am Officially trained / cleared to use.

I could use a bo, as we were taught a bit when I did Karate… but it’s been a moment(32y).

Did some Bo Karate in “the old days”, using a magical, mystical … broomstick
Was big fun - and had bruised hands very often ^^

I did Iai Do … also many years ago. You don’t forget the technique, but moving a (heavy) steel blade is different from moving a (light) wooden bokken … especially when it’s razor sharp and the lack of precision could lead to damaged girlfriends and furniture
