Thatās pretty cool @terb
Bits reminded me of a Rush type vibe ,others Sabbath ?
early Marmozets
fucked up rock/disco stuff with reverse chords, Iām all in !
They crack me up. Still love the first one you posted:
What the f*** did I just watch !!!
The Dance Commander!
Surely that should be THE Dance Commander !
Okay I had to do this. Apologies in advance but theyāre from where I grew up and even went to the same high school as me although admittedly a good few years after me
Love concrete blonde @Tokyo_Rat,
Saw them live at the Henry Fonda theatre in Hollywood in 2010, then when I arrived home they followed me to Australia and got to see them again at the palace in Melbourne.
They are one of the most underrated bands in the world.
Johnette is an awesome vocalist, songwriter and bass player.
Cheers Brian
Iāve been noodling around with this and remembering when I has long flowing locks. Classic Whitesnake when Coverdale on vocals was at his sultry best.
One of my musical heroes ?..most certainly
Since it just came up in another thread, hereās some Twitch-era Ministry. Basically a phase Al Jourgensen went through on his path from dance music to industrial metal. This influenced a lot of early electroindustrial music, and he did a lot of work with bands like Skinny Puppy around the time this came out and later.

Cabaret Voltaireās Code came out around this time too. Some similar sounding styles.
Oh god, that is so terribly bad, I couldnāt finish it.
And I LOVE Ministry. Lol
Beyond using beats like that for break dancers, I just never could enjoy the horribly over processed and crappy 808 drum machine loops.
But what I love about that is the progression from that to one of the heaviest horrifying sounds in speed metal bands during the early 90ās. They did have one of the heaviest sounds by the time Psalm 69 came out in the early 90ās. That album was aimed directly at the Bush administration. And the war in Iraq.
Just remember that that led directly to RevCoās āBig Sexy Landā
I actually love Twitch, the whole album. Then again I was definitely the target demographic at the time it came out. Lots of memories around that album.
Yes, music can defiantly bring up memories, and good times can make you love horrible music, and bad times can make you hate great stuff.
That is not directed at this song, just a general statement.
That is exactly why I donāt like Metallica, or Megadeath, or Alice In Chains, and countless others that I really hated at times in my life.
My life had no room for hate anymore, so although I donāt hate any bands, there are still many bands I prefer not to listen to.
The overall take away here, is there are so many reasons people like and dislike genres, singers, songs, bands, etc⦠other then the music or the songs quality themselves.
