Bringing a dead thread alive.

I have a black pickguard I just pulled off my Ray4.
I have a tortoise Pickguard I pulled off my Stingray SLO Special.

I am wondering if the paing would be thick enough, and not transparent, so that it would cover the Tortoise OK, and be OK to do with the black canvas of the pickguard from my Ray 4?

Hmmm, something to try.

If the paint isn’t thick enough, add another coat. If it still isn’t thick enough, add another coat…

Or, you could put a primer on before painting.
