Cool to have an example with a 'ray as they are already naturally bright sounding basses.
You can definitely hear it there, the fundamental tone is nice and midrangey but sounds less… “ringing” I think would be the word.

Do they still have that infamous problem of the necks breaking off if they fall over?

I’m guessing you’re talking about the EB-0, I don’t know at what point the neck broke but after I brought it home from a setup I got a huge splinter in my thumb, was bummed out was liking it.

Anyone own one of these? Since the EB-O’s neck broke I was thinking about picking this up for a few hundred more instead of another EB-O.

Probably super light - it’s 28.5" like the Ibanez Mikro.

Thanks Howard, that was my shortlist, my only dislike is that she is Black. I have 3 slobbery Boxer’s. I love the look of the 24 fret, it would define gather dust that end. I need something light that’s not a neck diver. Those samples we’re a great help thanks, played it through the 15" 150w and they feel good. So thanks

Took mine today to my local coffee shop. Sat out on the sidewalk with my vox headphone amp and did my daily practice. Also nice just to have in your hands while lounging on the couch watching TV. And nothing beats the comedy effect of people hearing it through an amp for the first time, my wife was like wait is all this coming from THAT?!?
