Short scale bass review

You’re probably right, not familiar with the B4E

I might also just go with one bass, and that would be the Player Jaguar Limited Edition. Surprised me that this has turned into my goto instrument. Love the ebony fretboard. Throw in some Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Pickups and I would be there, and happy.

This is mine, it is a little older, although I got it literally new in box, as seen, for $380 at that. Beginning of Covid, I scored.

The current offering, after about 2017, is a little lighter with body and rails the same color, they both look incredible. It is one of the best feeling / playing instruments I have ever played. It is probably better then my Stingray’s overall in feel, but there is something I love about my Stingrays that makes this 2nd to them.

Aww. This would have been a fantastic snag:

'80s MIJ Yamaha MB-III in its best color (IMO) for $160 or so. 32" scale.

I think it’s absolutely gorgeous.
I have no need for it but if someone really loves short scales this is a dream bass for sure.

If I were still into short scales, I’d consider it seriously, just for the uniqueness of it.

Beautiful, but still too rich for my blood.
