I’ve thought about acquiring a copy but yet to do so…
I’ll also note buying tubes on eBay can be dodgy so definitely research the seller and shipping/return policies.

For the most part I have as well! I’ve only had one bum tube so far and that was a very minor loss of cash. I really like it when they include photos of the tube being tested in the listing.
A few months back, I wanted a NOS RCA rectifier tube for my 5F1 Champ build. The new JJ Tube I bought and installed was creating a higher B+ voltage from the wall power than I really wanted. Transaction went very smoothly and I now have a ‘slightly’ lower B+, I still want it lower but the wall voltage is a limiting factor here.

I’ve got a Dingwall fund too. It started out as a general bass fund where I would set aside $100 a month for whatever. I got ambitious though when I won my fantasy football league last year. I threw those winnings in and then I was off to the races. From then on everything went in there: change, something from the tax return, my wife’s earrings that she doesn’t know I pawned (just playin’), etc. I’ve got one pre-ordered now. It’s supposed to be ready in September. I can’t wait to play it. Good luck on getting your Dingwall too.

The black SP1-4 that I preordered from Bass Freaks in Belgium just arrived via UPS. My first Dingwall. The white SP1-5 I preordered is scheduled to arrive in about 4 weeks.

I love the sound of the SGT-DI but it takes up too much space on a pedalboard for me. That was the one and only reason I sold mine.

My black SP1-4 showed up yesterday. My white SP1-5 is also due in late July. If you bought yours from Bass Freaks, ours are probably in the same batch. Pierre turned my SP1-4 around in a day.

Missed this tag. I do indeed gig with a ReVolt. I personally love it. Could do with more mid control but you can account for that in other ways.
