Show Us Your Basses (Part 1)

I kinda dig the clear guard. With gold screws. There’s so many possibilities!!

And then the roasted maple neck can come live at my house for some money right?!?!?!

Will the Ray34 neck fit on the SUB4?…. Plot thickens

I’ll find that out today, hopefully I seriously doubt it, but one can dream, lol.

Damn, Albert.
ThT has always been my dingle vavorige of the Ray34’s.

I just love that balsk wash ash finish.

I might gace wbded up with a satural aashvversuin, butcat wver minimum wouldchave swapped it out withvblack hardware, and by then, I would have been paying for the black ash, so I t seemed pointless, at that point.

The only thinh I would do would be to swapp out tge cclear scratch guard with something colorful. Preferabky orange Pearl, but WD always seems ro be on back oeder for that.

Id ecer tiy but yo thar for Sale / trade, I wiuld love first crack ar it.

If tiy ever tgink about that, dont bother with the lightweight tuners, may but it right out of my price range.

Thats a bucket list bass

My plan is to make a version of this first edition Cutlass bass. Get a custom water slide decal made for the Status Graphite neck. It would look something like this but with modern black Musicman lightweight tuners.

If I knew with absolutely certainty that I was not coming home from court on 5/2, I would order one right now.

I am considering ordering not from GC or Reverb or somewhere with a good return policy, and possibly buying one anyway, then just return it on May 1st.

Not sure I’ve shared this beauty yet. Still my number one but the Stingray is only second by a hair. It’s been in the case since I got the Ray but I took it out to play services all weekend. Didn’t even take a pedal board. Reddi DI and the house. With the Ernie Ball Cobalt flats on it it was just killer tone and sat in the mix very well. 1981 BB1200.

BB1200 and BB1200S are two of the best production basses ever made. Very nice

You need this to go with it…

What are the brown blotches on the back near neck and horns? Just light reflection?

The Bass comes with that pedal, its painted to match. The blotch’s are a reflection.

Now that’s going to be a good match; the B7K Ultra is among the best overall bass distortion/preamp combos. Definitely in the top five.

Beautiful Yamaha there.
I find it hard to resist neck thru’s.
Thats why I can’t find it in my heart to part with my ESP LTD B-4E.
It is the only neck thru I have my collection currently .
Love that reverse P pickup in it.

That’s such an awesome combo. B7K is my favorite of all pedals I have. You’ll enjoy it.
