Now that’s a looker.

@PamPurrs I like your “Minimal Bass Disorder” - and I am still proud of MEH (My Equipment is fine Habit). Together we’ll find the true term for reverse GAS…

Maybe there are so many ways to play a few intruments that it is Multiple Instruments Aren’t Useful / MIAU :cat2:

Would ordering a bunch of harley benton from Thomann to keep the best of the lot count as beating the 2 - in-one- day delivery? Asking for a friend

You’d (your friend would) probably need to order quite a few in order to have a chance that more then 2 of those arrive on the same day! I am not good with probabilities, but I would guess you’d need to buy at least ten basses to be sure to beat the 2 on one day record

In my experience. Thomann has been the fastest and most seamless shipping experience of all my basses - and that’s coming from Germany to Texas.

They have been more efficient than US companies I’ve used, like Sweetwater, Pitbull Audio, and Sound Pure. So, if 10 basses were to be ordered from Thomann at one time, I’d lay money down they would arrive together, on the same day.

There’s one way to find out. :smiling_imp:

I am happy to put down 50 bucks against all 10 on the same day

Just thinking about the sheer bulk of that delivery… :face_with_spiral_eyes:
But I’d think that if they have them on store, chances are, however dim, that they could be delivered simultaneously.

“my friend” lives in Germany, just to let you know  mind your bets…

Yeah, but they do a set-up for each one of them and that might put a bit of gravel in the whole smooth plan

Your German “friend” would be certain to get them in one big delivery dump.

It might also depend on the delivery cost they are being charged… might be worth grouping the delivery.
My experience with Thomann is that, when pick delivery by UPS, things tend to arrive one day ahead of schedule

@John_E cracking shot!

As well as being a great photo of an impressive collection, it reinforces my view that I’ll never succumb to bass GAS. I have eight high-end wearable ‘items’ and it’s enough of a headache deciding which to wear on a given day. If I woke up one day to a collection of basses of even quarter of that size, my brain would melt. Fact.

My collection of two is enough for me. I could possibly see myself picking up an acoustic bass just for shiggles but that’s it.

I’ve found two to be a great number to own. If I didn’t love both I would go down to one.

I love this. I always say “for S&Gs” but I’m going to assimilate “shiggles”.

I need to start copyrighting my PaulSpeak  :+1:

That’s… pretty effin’ gorgeous.

That is also pretty effin’ gorgeous.

I love the gloss over natural wood on both of them. Quite delectable.

My first and only. Fender Duff McKagan Signature Deluxe. I wouldn’t call myself a GNR fan (check out my strap to learn about my musical preferences) but have always preferred the P Bass shape to the Jazz, and figured I could cultivate a variety of tones with the P/J setup and the TBX circuit. Plus the neck plays fast like a Jazz. I know a lot of people claim this isn’t actually the “best of both worlds” but its certainly got more versatility that a standard P and looks awesome as well! I only wish it had a maple fingerboard but purely for aesthetic reasons.
