Itās been said many times, and we see it, that the āconnectionsā made here at Bass Buzz are the something extra. Iāve interacted with a few of you telephonically and in person, and enjoyed many of you from afar. Sending special thanks out to @MikeC on this one. I had been looking to add a bass with a quilted maple finish , jazz pickups, and a maple fret board. Ordered in June of 2024. This is the finished product. Itās on the way.

HUGE congrats, brother! This is just a stunning custom. That 3D-looking 4A Quilted Maple topwood and Birdseye Maple fretboard are flat out gorgeous. 
It took a long time to build, but the result is more than worth the wait.
But be prepared: I have it on good authority (the guy who took the photos) that the pics donāt do this masterpiece justice.

Beautiful bass. I love the block inlays. Iāve been wanting to put my hands on a Mayones for awhile now. Just to try out; Iāve got my own dream bass coming in January. I also had help from another BassBuzzer who put me in touch with his guy when my preorder went sideways. Iāll shout him out too when I can post some pictures. We really have a great group in this forum. Enjoy ripping that Mayones.

Ironic. The one condiment that I canāt stand to look at on a store shelf or even in a commercial. I cringe when Iām in a Subway (sandwich shop) and I hear someone ask for it. A dating deal-breaker; but, looking forward to this Mayones.

Then stay away from Germany, where they dip their fries in mayo instead of ketchup. Thereās good home-made mayo and then thereās the sh1t that comes in jars, or worse yet, plastic squeeze bottles. Like you, hard pass.
