Maybe that bass was meant to have rounds on her, @PamPurrs . . .
Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha! . . .
I just started playing about 6 weeks ago, renting a Squier CV precision bass to see if bass playing was my thing. While keeping a lookout for something in the used market, this ~2007 G&L L2000 Tribute in ‘blueburst’ caught my eye. I originally wanted a natural finish, but in the end I’m way happier with the finish on this one.
After some suggestions on talkbass, I thing I’ve got it dialed in to sound like a classic P since messing with tone isn’t what I need to be focusing on right now.
Welcome @David_Anderson! Is that a Hercules guitar stand I see? I’ve been looking at their wall hangers. How do you like it?
Ahh you caught me, that’s a photo from the ad. I haven’t put it down long enough to take my own photo.
Those Hercules wall hangers (with the wood) are the only ones I trust. Was recommend by a guitar builder/shop who has hundreds of them in his own store.
Why do you prefer the wood as opposed to the metal triangle mount?
I think you should go and stand in the corner, facing the wall and think about what you’ve done
Welcome @David_Anderson. I’ve got 2 of those wall hangers sat in a box where they’ve lived for months and months
One day I’ll have my own music room
That’s a nice looking bass!
Things look a little crowded so I’ve ordered a 5 bass stand.
Hold on, there’s only 4 basses there
I’ll have to rectify that ASAP
Don’t you have your evil green flying V in the works?
