Somebody stole my headstock!!
It’s an Ibanez 1505 Fan Fret - I have not liked the sound of most 5-frets other than a beautiful Curbow I was lucky enough to play for a little bit. So I decided to try a Fan Fret, and I like it. Very little adaptation time for the fan was needed, and the B actually sounds good with the stock D’Addarios. This thing is light: 7lb 5oz. - no shoulder soreness here! The tuners at the bridge are smooth and easy to adjust. Took a little extra time dropping down the action, which was way too high, and getting the intonation right. I still lust after that 5-string Curbow though!
