Good to see you again, Laurent @terb . . .

thank you @Jazzbass19 for your kind words, really appreciated. the move was hard but the hardest part is done. now I just have to organize myself a bit but I have two weeks before I start my new job, it will be fine.
I see you have all the important stuff set up first, mon ami! . . . ![]()
Glad you made it, and good luck with the new job, too.
Cheers, Joe
Got the stool from Amazon. Note that Roc-n-Soc makes drum thrones also which are similar but a lot more expensive.
Good to see you getting settled in.

Looking good @terb! Looking forward to your first cover from your new digs!
Good luck with the new job my friend!
Here’s my bass space in corner of the TV room. I started feeling badly that I haven’t posted…

#1 fan, Stella, my Gsp
Nice Jerry @JerryP I like the proximity to the coffee making.

Jamie
@Moose_Hofer great space, great lighting, hug for Stella
Jamie

Nice space @Moose_Hofer,
Love your acoustic bass, I see you are a 5 string man.
And your dog looks like it has a comfy position close to the action.
Cheers Brian
Nice practice space @Moose_Hofer!
Always good to see four-legged friends
What kind of bass is the leftmost one? I’ve never seen the pickups this close together.
German dogs are my favorite.
That’s my newest favorite. MTD or Michael Tobias Design. It’s a Kingston Super 5. I’m loving it. It’s offshore made, but I’m actively looking for an upgrade to a Kingston ZX or a US made one.
Tons of tones, and great feel.
I might need to part with my TL5.
Ooh those are some nice big humbuckers.
They are Korean-made, correct? (No judgement… just curious!)
Is that against forum rules, complimenting someone purely based on the size of their humbuckers? Not very politically correct

The word “humbucker” being used as an evasive denomination for what is probably a female secondary sexual characteristic is a usage I was unaware of until now.
Oh man… ![]()
I think this is just one more example of the beauty of the English language and its amazing “flexibility” and, in that sense, playfulness.
Michael Mcintyre has this running gag where he basically uses any word to describe how drunk someone was - “man, yesterday, I was utterly gazeboed!” “I was so bungalowed, I could hardly stand!”
Sorry everyone for my weird humour
It’s a pickup line!
