Sorry but im actually a cleanskin. At 56 probably not gonna get one. Although with 16 melanomas and 200 odd other skin cancers cut out out ive got a few scars!!! To counter that though my 16 yo daughter wants to be a tattoo artist???

Thats for sure.
Nice work @Mac , that looks like a painful tattoo, I don’t have any above my neck, or below my wrist line, just so you can cover them for work, but I have not worked in a few years, and probably not going to go back to that formal of a place again, so I may get some hand Tatts, or neck.
I love Tom Araya of Slayher had a huge bass clef covering his right hand. I thought about getting a clef on my hand or neck, but not plans at the moment.

Hey T_dub, When I started with my tats I thought if they only see the tats then they are really looking skin deep and not what I can bring to them as a person.

It was bloody painful @T_dub and boring too! One more session should see it done.
I too only had coverable ink for a long time but attitudes are way more relaxed here than the uk

The UK isn’t as bad as it used to be, large facial tattoos might draw a comment but even hand tattoos barely raise an eyebrow now

Things have certainly changed for the better then @Deidheid :+1:
When I first unadorned my throat done a good few years back it used to raise a few eyebrows :joy:

Is it Australia that is outlawing MC tattoos?

Did 21 years of submarine service, have zero tattoos. Lately I have been considering getting my Dolphins tattooed on my chest.

pretty much the same in the USA. Some places more then others, but yeah, seeing people with NO tattoo’s is getting more and more rare.

it is its own form of addiction. It is a needle I CAN have without breaking my sobriety.

Finally got my full skullcap finished and the last skull shaded on my left arm that has sat there as an outline for nearly 14 years.
For the first time ever I left the tattoo parlour thinking “ that’s enough for now” !!!
Feeling like I’ve got serious sunburn tonight but it’s self inflicted so I shouldn’t moan :joy:

No motorcycles . . . and no tattoos on me, either @Mac

I gotta get with the program!

Cheers and hope your ‘sunburn’ heals up quickly

I kinda dig the after pain.

And the during pain, No?

It is quite addictive, to a point. Having difficult to hold colors set, is always a JOY, along with large areas of solid black.
It is also very PART / PLACE specific.
Some areas there is almost no pain, where other areas are very painful, to the point where certain areas are totally off limits for me at least. Not just the private parts, some of the most exposed parts are quite painful.
Palms of hands, bottom of feet, OUCH!!!

It was once rumoured where I spent my growing up that if you could stand having a tattoo on the sole of your foot one local tattooist would do you a free back piece @T_dub
I would be so tempted nowadays to give it a try

I’m ready for more, just trying to sort out what and where.
