SOLVED Manually "converting" PDF tab to Guitar Pro Tab. (Strange Games by Mick Jagger)

Since I have watched “Slow Horses” I have an irresistible earworm: Strange Games by Mick Jagger.

I have the bass tabs as PDF and want to convert it manually to Guitar Pro.

SLOW HORSES - STRANGE GAME.pdf (101.8 KB)

No matter what I do, the notes do not fit properly in the bars.
No, I don’t know music theory

So this is the first line:

I guess it has something to do with this:

I learned it’s called a triplet. But that’s all I learned ^^
Can anybody help me how to get this into GP properly?

I may be wrong, but I think that’s indicating “swing 8ths” - Swung 8ths.

I don’t think that’s the problem - the tab doesn’t show note duration, so I can’t tell how long any of the notes are. Is that first measure a quarter with an 8th rest then 2 8ths, 8th rest and a quarter? Or an 8th with an 8th rest then a quarter, 8th, 8th rest and a quarter? I don’t know… You’ll have to figure it out by listening to the song, I guess…

UltimateGuitar has the official tab, if you have a membership there… It shows the note durations. UG - Strange Game

Thanks!
I find UltimateGuitar too expensive, just to use for one tab
And - as far as I know - you can’t download official tabs.

Still I could use that to enter it manually into GP…

You can “print” the tabs, including official ones, which provides a PDF file.

I can’t tell much from your screenshot, but you can’t see an official tab unless you have a membership. So if the link is to the official tab, you won’t see anything without the membership.

What you need is the actual music. They’ve put the rests in there but no indication of the duration of the actual plucked noted. Here’s the first line in actual music and you can see that the beats in a measure now add up:
