Agree with above - and you are rushing the beat - which in the beginning is usually from nerves and/or not enough practice.
The groove is #1, maybe spend more time on timing to ensure you get this nailed early. You’re better off playing the wrong note at the right time than the right note at the wrong time.
First of all - this once again proves that Squier basses are amazing, grat tone. Bit high in the mix but great for this type of feedback process.
Here and there a bit rushing the beat and a couple off groove notes, but really not that bad at all, this comes with time and players being overall more comfortable.
I did notice a wrong note played - but - it was on the groove, so didn’t really matter!
That said, I would say you are well ahead of the curve. Keep it up!
It is my first bass, so I have no idea if it’s good or not. I like the sound, it was cheap, and some people recommended it on the internet, so… I bought it. Thanks for your approval
I made a tempo mistake in the first bar… so that’s my level What I notice—and really like—is that the first time I recorded the song, it was much worse. I let a few days pass and kept practicing other songs/lessons, and when I went back to it, I felt more comfortable. I really like that feeling.
Now I’m curious to know which note was wrong…
Thanks again for the feedback, and I’m really happy to be playing songs after only two months with the bass.
Well here is my first song in the challenge, started on this one cos of full song module
took some time to get concentration up to be able to play it, and you can see from viedo, death-stare at the screen to not loose track where in song I am, but I had alot of fun learning this, even though this song is not my cup of tea, but mom will like it
